Check-ups

Getting a new puppy, kitten or young rabbit is extremely exciting, especially if it’s your first pet. It’s important that you have done lots of research about your chosen breed, and that you give the new addition to your family the best possible start in life.

We recommend that you bring your new pet to see one of our vets once a month until they’re six months old. This is so that their growth and development can be monitored to ensure they grow into a happy and healthy animal.

Once your pet is six months old you will only need to bring them for a general check-up once a year. If you have any concerns about their health in between visits, request an appointment to see one of our vets as soon as possible.

Regular check-ups for pets
