Prescriptions

When prescription medicines are being supplied it is a legal requirement for the vet to regularly monitor the pet. Our practice policy is that animals should be assessed every 3 – 6 months (depending on the condition). This involves a consultation with the veterinarian where a blood test may be performed to make sure that the medication is firstly at the correct dosage and secondly that it is not having any adverse effects on your pet.

Regular check-ups for pets

Pets age much more rapidly than humans and they can’t tell us when they are feeling unwell. This makes regular check-ups for our pets the most important step in preventative health care. A regular veterinary examination ensures health problems are detected and treated early and more effectively.
